I first met Dick when my sister brought him to Louth to introduce him to the family. From that moment on and for the following forty years plus he had a massively positive influence on my life. In all my ups and downs through my life he was supportive, encouraging, and always helpful with an ability to tell me truth when I was not always wanting to hear it. I will miss his wicked sense of humour which never failed to hit the mark - actually I will just miss him full stop. A lovely, generous and kind person..
